Herr Schröder - Der Rest ist Hausaufgabe

Herr Schröder is back: on 18 September 2026, the school bell rings at ENNI Eventhalle in Moers as Johannes Schröder - alias Herr Schröder - presents his new solo show "Der Rest ist Hausaufgabe" ("The Rest Is Homework"). A state-certified German teacher turned comedian, he takes the audience through a double lesson on school, society and the road to a better Futur II - and if time runs out: the rest is homework.

Schröder studied German philology and, after twelve years in the classroom, spent a year in Toronto learning the craft of the punchline in comedy clubs. His debut show "World of Lehrkraft - Ein Trauma geht in Erfüllung" toured Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The follow-up, "Instagrammatik", filled arenas - including the Rudolf Weber-ARENA in Oberhausen in June 2024, which hosted the largest "detention session" in European history.

Schröder has won the "Stuttgarter Besen" and the "Prix Pantheon", among other awards, and appears regularly on German TV in shows such as "Nuhr im Ersten" (ARD), "Mitternachtsspitzen" (WDR) and the "NDR Talk Show". His books "World of Lehrkraft - Ein Pädagoge packt aus" (Ullstein, 2019) and "Instagrammatik - Das streamende Klassenzimmer" (2021) both became Spiegel bestsellers. His podcast "Nachsitzen mit Herr(n) Schröder!" is available on RTL+ and wherever you get your podcasts.
