Die Cowboys - DER WILDE, WILDE WESTEN live auf Achse

Die Cowboys is a band made up of former members and a founding member of TRUCK STOP - the most successful German country band of all time. On stage: Rainer Bach, Uwe Lost, Dirk Schlag, Chris Kaufmann, Florian Lost and Bo Heart.

Rainer Bach, founding member of Truck Stop, was responsible as composer and lead singer for hits like "Ich möchte so gern Dave Dudley hören", "Der Wilde Wilde Westen" and "Old Texas Town, die Westernstadt". Uwe Lost spent 45 years with Truck Stop and created the title song "Große Haie, kleine Fische" for the cult ARD series "Großstadtrevier", which has been running for over 30 years. Dirk Schlag joined Truck Stop in 2003 as a guitarist, switched to Santiano in 2013 and now fills arenas with them. Chris Kaufmann joined in 2015, developed the band's guitar sound further and today tours stadiums with Andreas Gabalier - for example at the Munich Olympic Stadium - as well as in a duo with Wild As Her on the European country scene. Bo Heart, Hamburg keyboardist, singer and composer, worked with Xavier Naidoo, Edo Zanki and Klaus Lage and was active for many years in LostGang alongside Dirk Schlag and Florian and Uwe Lost. Florian Lost, son of Uwe Lost, completes the band on drums.

The Cowboys bring with them the great hits of their original band - "Der wilde Westen", "Ich möcht' so gern Dave Dudley hör'n", "Old Texas Town, die Westernstadt" and more - plus new pieces like "50 bunte Jahre" and country classics that shaped them musically, including songs by country-rock legend The Eagles and country hits from the late 60s like "Marylou - Goodbye Heart" or "Hello Josephine".

Uwe Lost gave the impetus in December 2024: "I just felt like playing live again." After the first announcement on social media, the concert at Studio Maschen sold out within an hour; two more evenings followed.
