DIE COWBOYS® - DER WILDE, WILDE WESTEN live auf Achse.
Die Cowboys consist of former band members and a founding member of the most successful German country band of all time - TRUCK STOP.
Today - five decades later - it is these very musicians who, as defining figures of that era, shaped the sound, who are taking the stage together once again. Under the name DIE COWBOYS, they return to perform. In the lineup: Rainer Bach and Uwe Lost, Dirk Schlag, Chris Kaufmann and Florian Lost - all singers and musicians who made country music popular in Germany.
Rainer Bach, founding member of Truck Stop, was responsible not only for composing many great hits such as "Ich möchte so gern Dave Dudley hören", "Der Wilde Wilde Westen" and "Old Texas Town, die Westernstadt", but also shaped these hits with his distinctive lead voice.
Uwe Lost spent 45 years with Truck Stop and created a Hamburg cult classic with "Große Haie, kleine Fische", which has been the theme song of the successful ARD cult series "Großstadtrevier" for over 30 years.
Dirk Schlag joined Truck Stop in 2003 as the new guitarist, as founding member Erich Doll had to step down for health reasons. Dirk Schlag remained until 2013, then moved to "Santiano", with whom he fills arenas today. In 2015, Chris Kaufman joined Truck Stop, developing the band's guitar sound with fresh, contemporary guitar riffs.
Chris Kaufman plays today, like Dirk Schlag, in the top tier of the music scene, including with Andreas Gabalier on stadium tours, for example at the Olympia Stadium Munich. He also tours successfully across the European country music scene as a duo with Wild As Her.
Additionally, the Cowboys have brought on further reinforcement:
Bo Heart is a Hamburg keyboardist, singer and composer. In addition to releasing his own recordings, he has worked with artists such as Xavier Naidoo, Edo Zanki and Klaus Lage.
