BABA EXPLOSION - with Open Gate

The event takes place with an open gate and a bar counter in the courtyard.

BABA Explosion - formerly an ABBA tribute band under the name Abba Explosion - had to change its name due to trademark and name-protection issues. The band stands out from pure tribute acts: instead of computer recordings and backing tracks, the musicians rely on live sound. Lead singers Rebecca and Ully impress with their interplay, authentic vocal harmonies, and power - giving the typical ABBA sound a playful rock edge here and there. The band also regularly surprises the audience with short quotes from other songs in music history, woven into ABBA numbers. This show has sold out the Scheuer nine times.

Parking: Parking in Wörsdorf is getting increasingly tight - please respect the signs and don't block any entrances. Large parking areas are available in front of supermarkets at the entrances to Idstein and Walsdorf; from there it's a short walk to the venue. Alternatively, there's the P1 Penderparkplatz at Wermutsgraben above the train stop - take the small underpass or walk down the street directly to the Scheuer. Many guests also arrive by train.
