Epilog: "SingBach" - Final Concert

The music education project "SingBach" has become the heart of the Gezeitenkonzerte festival. Following major successes in the previous two years, the project now enters its third round - this year in Emden and Leer, bringing together around 500 students who become part of this special musical adventure.

The concept is both intensive and effective: in Emden and Leer, dedicated project weeks take place where approximately 250 children work under the direction of renowned music educator Friedhilde Trüün to develop a program lasting about an hour that casts the music of Johann Sebastian Bach in a completely new light. These intensive workshops culminate in a grand closing concert. Supported by a first-class jazz band with professional musicians from the region, the young singers present "Bach hits" in fresh, jazzy arrangements. Bach's timeless music is charged with so much groove and joy of performance that the spark is guaranteed to ignite.
