Concert "Ich weiß ein Land"

The Sächsischer Bergsteigerchor "Kurt Schlosser" from Dresden performs at the Zentralgasthof Weinböhla. In their 99th year, around 75 choir members present a programme of mountain, hiking and folk songs - German and international - alongside works by classical composers.

In recent years the choir has also developed its own arrangements of popular music, including pieces by Neil Young, Michael Jackson and The Cranberries. The programme mixes the familiar with the occasional surprise.
