CAMOUFLAGE - Sommer Open Air 2026

Camouflage - the band from Bietigheim-Bissingen that burst onto the US charts in 1987 with "The Great Commandment", hitting number one on the Billboard Dance Charts. Their debut album "Voices & Images" was a success on both sides of the Atlantic, and the follow-up "Methods of Silence" delivered "Love Is A Shield" - a track that still gets played on dancefloors and radio stations today.

The nineties brought experiments with styles and producers, their own label for offbeat releases called "Areu Areu", and even an opera project - years that mattered artistically but were less kind financially. The record labels moved on. Camouflage kept touring anyway, from Russia to Mexico, steadily growing their fanbase.

Now, as retro waves keep rolling in and synth-pop booms worldwide, Camouflage are doing what they have always done: recording new music. Not nostalgia - songs about the here and now.
