About

Camouflage is a German synth-pop trio from Bietigheim-Bissingen, formed in 1983 by Marcus Meyn (vocals), Heiko Maile and Oliver Kreyssig (both keyboards and production). Their 1987 debut single "The Great Commandment" hit number one on the US Billboard Dance Club Songs chart and reached the top ten in over twenty countries, making them one of the most internationally successful German electronic acts of the late 1980s. Over eight studio albums they developed a sound built on melodic synth lines, dense electronic beats and Meyn's distinctly melancholic voice - a style that kept them relevant well into the 2000s and beyond.
