What a debut 2016 was! "Die immer lacht" shot straight into the Top 5 charts in Germany and Austria, filling playlists on every streaming platform for months on end. 1.2 million copies sold and 200 million YouTube clicks - the remixed version of this catchy sing-along discofox number hit numbers that are hard to match.

Yet all the doubters were wrong: Kerstin Ott didn't vanish as a one-hit wonder. She kept writing new songs - small stories drawn from real life, believable, distinctive and danceable. Four albums delivered to her fans, every single one landing in the German Top 5. By now she's a fixture of every major Schlager production and has recorded duets with the biggest names on the scene (Howard Carpendale, Helene Fischer). No Schlager party is complete without "Wegen Dir", "Regenbogenfarben" or "Nachts Sind Alle Katzen Grau".
