Schlosstraum 2026

The seventh Schlosstraum takes place on 22 August from 20:30 in the castle park of Köthen - a playful, poetic open-air spectacle. Glowing romantic figures wander through the night, acrobats impress with their skills, and performers from a range of genres take to the stages scattered across the park. Expect comedy, music, acrobatics and clownery.

Alongside professional artists - walkacts, acrobats, dancers, musicians and comedians - local Köthen groups join the bill: the costume-loving ensemble Rondo la kultoro e.V. and the dance studio Step by step. Performances take place on several stages of varying sizes - in the outer castle courtyard, in the park, by the water and inside the event centre.

Audiences are free to wander between stages and put together their own evening programme, before gathering for a rousing finale. Artistic direction, as in previous years, is in the hands of Susanne Linzer.
