Orchestra Concert "Everything in Motion"

Albrecht Mayer brings his oboe to Dresden on Saturday, 22 August 2026 at 19:30 for an orchestral concert titled "Everything in Motion" at Kulturpalast. The Moritzburg Festival Orchestra, conducted by Josep Caballé Domenech, will perform works by Smetana, Mozart, Wagner, and Schumann with Mayer as soloist. This is one of two German dates for the artist this season; the second concert takes place in Bamberg in September. The programme features Smetana's Vltava, Mozart's Oboe Concerto in F major reconstructed by Gotthard Odermatt, Wagner's Song of the Rhine Daughters, and Schumann's Symphony No. 3 in E-flat major. Tickets are priced at 29 euros.
