Eric Clapton Tribute-Show - Direct from Canada: Cliff Stevens & Band

Cliff Stevens is a blues-rock guitarist with British-Scottish roots who lives in Montreal. Inspired by Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Johnny Winter, and Rory Gallagher, he developed his own distinctive style early on and quickly established himself in Canada's blues-rock scene.

His career has not followed a straight path. After years in various bands and performances at the prestigious Montreal International Jazz Festival, he stepped back from touring, worked as a taxi driver for a time, and became sober in 1998. This turning point marked the beginning of his solo career. Since then, he has performed at festivals including Tremblant International Blues Festival, Eutin Bluesfest, and Vienna Blues Spring, touring across Canada, Europe, Mexico, and Morocco. In 2014, he opened for Wishbone Ash on their European tour.

Stevens has released four solo albums to date: "Feeling The Blues" (2014), "Grass Won't Grow" (2016), "Live in Germany" (2017), and "Nobody But You" (2019), which spent 58 weeks on the Roots Music Report (RMR) and 20 weeks in the top 10 of the Blues Rock and Canada Top 50 Album Charts. His fifth album, "Better Days", features twelve original songs ranging from blues-rock to acoustic country blues and reached the top of the RMR Canada Top 50 Album Charts, with three different tracks each spending a week at number one. Beyond his music career, Stevens holds a master's degree in music and pedagogy from Concordia University in Montreal.
