Our guides will share interesting facts and humorous anecdotes about beer from the family brewery's more than 150-year history. After the wonderful tour through the tradition and modernity of GANTER brewery, you can relax in the unique atmosphere of our kettle house bar and sample various beers!

Venue
This traditional brewery from Freiburg has been in operation for over 150 years and has earned its reputation through a diverse range of beers known well beyond the city limits. The brewery regularly hosts well-attended events and parties in its facilities.

In 1865, Ludwig Ganter founded the brewery in the house Zum Kindlein Jesu. The Dutch scholar Erasmus of Rotterdam lived in this building for several years. Ganter initially brewed beer using a small 18th-century brewing apparatus. Due to excellent sales, the brewery expanded.

Students receive a 10% discount upon presentation of their student ID. Children under 6 years old enter free.
