Where the shadows grow thick and the whisper of the forest carries tales of bandits and ghosts, a place of legend rises - the Wirtshaus im Spessart.
This year it opens its gloomy gates in Giebelstadt, drawing audiences into a game of deception, danger and passion.

Deep in the dark forest, a noblewoman and her magnificent carriage fall victim to a mysterious ambush. She seeks shelter at a remote inn - but that is precisely where the real danger lurks: a notorious gang of robbers who lure wealthy travellers into a deadly trap.
The quick-witted Comtesse senses the threat and dares a risky ruse to slip away unnoticed and fetch help. Along the way she meets a young adventurer who guards a secret of his own. Together they hatch a bold plan that calls for courage, wit and heart.
