JAZZKÜCHE - a blend of horns and rhythm

Jazzküche brings together a rhythm section and horn players into a sound that spans a wide stylistic range: jazz standards and new arrangements sit alongside Latin, Afro, R&B, funk, salsa, blues and waltz. Their inspirations include giants like Santana, S. Wonder, Jamiroquai, C. Segundo, A. Gilberto, H. Hancock and D. Ellington - as well as lesser-known musicians.

A hallmark of the band is spontaneous solo improvisation, where every instrument gets its own moment in the spotlight.

The seven musicians from North Frisia: Peer Oehlschlägel (drums), Alex Weiß (bass), Benny Milord (guitar), Hans Carstensen (piano), Stefanie Brodersen (alto sax, soprano sax), Schorsch Eisenberg (trombone), Lars Brodersen (bari sax, trumpet).
