In 2026, one of eastern Brandenburg's most popular theatre festivals returns with a new summer production at the Hof-Theater in Bad Freienwalde.

Join a musical journey through the sunnier side of life - summer, sunshine and the sea! It's a trip back to the era of German Schlager hits from the 1950s, full of kitsch and carefree joy from the Wirtschaftswunder years. The story follows Zuckerpuppe from the belly-dancing troupe, who dreams in the moonlight of dancing till dawn with Zwei kleinen Italienern.

What will happen to mother Elfriede, father Ernst and daughter Cornelia on their Italian holiday - and what does the garden gnome have to do with it all? A summer theatre treat delivered with a wink, and suitable for all ages. When there's nothing else for it: Sing, Baby sing!
