Markus Kavka, born in 1967 in Ingolstadt, is a journalist and presenter. After working in print and radio, he launched his music television career in 1995 at VIVA. In 1997 he moved to VIVA ZWEI, and from 2000 to 2009 he was a presenter and producer at MTV Germany. Following stints at Kabel Eins, ZDFkultur, and Nitro, he has been with Deluxe Music since 2015. He is also a radio presenter, author, podcaster, and DJ.
