Don't worry, this is not some feel-good fluff. The optimism at the heart of this programme has been hard-won - in defiance of reality's obstacles, so to speak. And the resulting show, for all its many facets, is both feather-light and genuinely deep. It moves between stand-up comedy, music, freestyle rap and a certain favourite baker who once again hits satirical peak form.

And because the whole spectacle is a unique experience every time - not just for the audience but for the performer himself - Quichotte puts it this way: "The day can go however it wants. In the evening I'm on stage, and then I'm definitely... in good spirits! Besides, I can't afford pessimism."
