Inner Beauty

One of the most captivating discoveries in the a cappella world comes to Döbeln: Art'n'Voices from Gdańsk impress with the finest vocal artistry and outstanding artistic excellence. The Polish singers already performed brilliantly before hundreds of listeners in Dresden, Görlitz, Hoyerswerda and the Erzgebirge in 2024 and 2025.

Eight young singers. No instruments - only pure sound in perfect harmony. Art'n'Voices from Gdańsk deploy their eight voices in an enchanting manner. When the first notes fill the space, the praise from international competitions and expert juries becomes immediately clear. "An extraordinary ensemble: diverse voices, wonderful collaborative musicmaking" - raved Simon Carrington, former member of the Kings Singers, in the jury of the a-cappella-award Leipzig 2023, where the ensemble won first prize. Concerts throughout Germany attest to their rapid rise on the German music scene. Performances range from the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, through Deutschlandfunk Cologne, all the way from the Baltic Sea to the Black Forest.

With their distinctive sound and emotional intensity, they have already established themselves firmly on the international music scene. The concerts in Saxony are a long-awaited reunion: already in 2024 and 2025, the ensemble was eagerly anticipated.

"Inner Beauty" tells of the emotions of everyday life. Works and arrangements inspired by Johann Sebastian Bach, Ola Gjeilo and Radiohead sound in a new guise, complemented by specially composed works from Polish avant-garde composers such as Marek Raczyński and Anna Rocławska-Musiałczyk, the ensemble's director. The music evokes the atmosphere from the murmur of the Baltic Sea to the chirping of a summer forest and tells of love, acceptance and triumph, but also of paranoia and sorrow. Works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Arvo Pärt and Sting round out the programme.
