And unlike what the sceptics predicted, Kerstin Ott never faded into one-hit-wonder territory - she kept writing new songs, grounded in real-life stories, catchy and danceable. Four albums, every single one landing in the German top 5. Today she is a fixture of every major Schlager production and has recorded duets with the biggest names in the genre (Howard Carpendale, Helene Fischer).
