Max Baumann is done with love. After his wife threw him out - in favour of a future with their couples therapist - he has made up his mind: he will stay single forever. Order, cleanliness and strict rules are all the stability he needs.

Then his brother Tom moves in: a fun-loving womaniser for whom loyalty is as foreign a concept as coasters or properly hung towels. A clash of two very different lifestyles is inevitable, and the chaos follows fast.

While Tom frightens off one woman after another (often stumbling over their names before anything else goes wrong) and Max desperately defends his rules, Kerstin suddenly appears: Max's colleague, his landlady - and a fellow devotee of order.
