Concert and Reading with Songs by R.E.M.

The Bremen/Hamburg band Someday Jacob performs selected R.E.M. songs in The One I Love, some rearranged - including "Losing My Religion", "Nightswimming" and "Man On The Moon".

The evening is also a reading: Birgit Fuß, a music magazine editor at Rolling Stone for over 20 years, has interviewed Bruce Springsteen, Bono, Patti Smith and over 400 other musicians. She has repeatedly had in-depth conversations with R.E.M. and published the book "R.E.M. - Life And How To Live It" in 2023. During The One I Love, she reads from it and shares stories of her encounters with the band.

Someday Jacob singer Jörn Schlüter has also worked as an editor at Rolling Stone for years. On stage, a conversation unfolds about songs, stars and rock and roll - between music and personal memories of one of the most significant bands of their time.
