Städtisches Kulturhaus, Bitterfeld-Wolfen, Germany
38.5 €
Attention, friends of Egerland and Bohemian brass music!
Few brass ensembles are as renowned as the Bohemian tradition. The unmistakable sound embodies Bohemian culture and Egerland heritage. These sophisticated compositions brim with boundless joie de vivre, yet also convey melancholy and nostalgia for a lost homeland.
Die Goldenen Egerländer are a true insider's tip. Since their founding, these passionate musicians have filled concert halls throughout Germany. This owes much to the orchestra's exceptional quality and musicianship. It comes as no surprise that the professional musicians play or have played in military and police orchestras across Germany - including the Bundeswehr Staff Music Corps, the Federal Police Orchestra Berlin, and the former Luftwaffe Music Corps Berlin.
Since October 2022, Die Goldenen Egerländer have been conducted by Edi Sagert, a former musician with Ernst Mosch and former director of the Original Kapelle Egerland.
With their lively, authentic, and spirited approach combined with genuine feeling, the orchestra crafts compelling stage performances - naturally, all in traditional Egerland costume.
True to the motto "Favourite Melodies from the Egerland", the programme focuses on interpretations of the finest Egerland sounds, including works by ERNST MOSCH and his Original Egerländer Musikanten. When the "Rustling Birches" ring out, the audience joins in singing "We Are Children of the Eger", or as the "Bohemian Wind" gently sweeps through the concert hall, every Egerland brass music enthusiast finds exactly what they seek.
Experience a unique concert highlight of the highest calibre - Egerland brass music at its finest!
