4goodreasons write their songs mostly in German, with a strong sense of empathy. The lyrics deal with life's small and large defeats and victories - they stand out for their honesty, because anyone can find themselves in them. The band members' varied musical influences come together in a distinctive style that serves the lyrics while also making a strong sonic statement. Acoustic guitars form the backbone, enriched by multi-part harmonies, full-bodied bass lines, and distinctive transverse flute passages. Imaginative and versatile drumming ensures that no two songs sound alike, covering an impressive stylistic range across the repertoire.

Bernd Thelen, Katrin Nelsen, Ansgar Krause, and Jörg Schreinemackers are fully committed to demanding, heartfelt songwriting. They formed 4good reasons in early 2014 and have since built up a large catalogue of original songs.
