Das Ruhrgebiet ist meins! - A Children's Music Theatre for the Whole Family

The children's music theatre "The Ruhr is Mine!" takes young audiences on a journey through their home region - from the roots of coal mining to a future shaped together. At the heart of the story are Kira, Sam and Jörg, who bring the past, present and future of the Ruhr to life. Adults are explicitly welcome to join.

On stage, the Ruhr comes alive - it sounds, speaks and moves: live music, visible instruments and songs that hit home. Professional singers and actors interact with the audience - there's singing along, questions and laughter. The specially composed song "Zuhause" (Home) captures the theme of belonging.

The show speaks to all generations: children ask questions, parents share stories, grandparents recognise the familiar.
