Auftakt 1 - Family Concert

Conductor Michael Francis leads a family concert on Sunday, 6 September 2026 at 11:00 at Pfalzbau Ludwigshafen. The programme features Carl Nielsen's symphonic poem "Saga Drøm", Edward Elgar's "The Wand of Youth Suite Nr. 2", and Maurice Ravel's "Ma mère l'oye" in its 1911 ballet version. This is one of six German dates on the artist's tour. Pfalzbau, the city's principal cultural venue opened in 1968 on the Rhine's banks, houses a large theatre hall and concert hall. Tickets cost 15 €.
