Sistergold - four saxophonists with a flair for staging and a love of handcrafted music - present their new programme "Luftmaschen" at the Kniestedter Kirche.

Alongside well-known pieces from jazz, classical, funk and pop, the programme features original compositions written specifically for the quartet. Familiar works such as "Forest Gump", "Spinning Wheel", "Palladio", "Monster Inc." and Brahms' "Hungarian Dance No. 5" appear in the group's own arrangements, reimagined as fresh sonic textures.

Witty commentary, theatrical interludes and surprise instrument swaps are all part of the concept - as is direct, playful engagement with the audience.
