The Kniestedter Kirche is a late-Romanesque village church in the Kniestedt district of Salzgitter, dating back to the 12th century. Its modest stone nave and historic interior make it one of the oldest surviving sacred buildings in the region. The church regularly hosts classical concerts and cultural events alongside regular services.
