In 2026, Icelandic singer-songwriter and entertainer Svavar Knútur will be accompanied by three Icelandic musicians: Kristín Lárusdóttir (cello), Jóhanna Ósk Valsdóttir (viola), and Íris Dögg Gísladóttir (violin).

Svavar Knútur presents his songs in a deeply moving way, interspersed with absurd stories and jokes - seasoned with a generous dose of dark Icelandic humour. He likes to call himself a "Public Health Troubadour": "I think I might be the broccoli of Singer Songwriters, not the sexiest of the vegetables, but still veeeery good for you!"

His performances swing emotionally between being moved to tears and laughing until you cry. Svavar highlights the ordinariness of human existence, casting it in a new light and offering fresh perspectives - all without artifice.
