London-born Steve Baker has long been regarded as one of the great harmonica players with international renown. Many fans know him as the longtime companion of blues legend Abi Wallenstein, and his four albums with guitarist virtuoso Chris Jones, who sadly passed away far too early in 2005, remain landmark recordings.

He has now made a name for himself as both songwriter and frontman, releasing three albums of his genre-spanning original compositions on Timezone Records in just a few years. His songs radiate attitude and strike a deeply personal note that reflects, among other things, our turbulent times.

Here, elements of blues, Americana and rock merge with hints of reggae and funk into an exciting synthesis. Catchy and vibrant, the songs blend melodic pop sensibility with introspective lyrics, delivered with the energy and intensity that have always defined Steve's work.

His unmistakable harmonica style, always in service of the song, is funky, melodic and elegant, providing the perfect complement to his voice.
