The Jeremy Days were among the few German bands to make it onto MTV in the late eighties - at a time when the channel was dominated by the biggest acts. Their song "Brand New Toy" became an evergreen hit that still plays on radio today. Over ten years and five albums, they worked with legendary producers Clive Langer and Alan Winstanley (including Madness and Elvis Costello) and Fred Maher (including Lou Reed and Lloyd Cole), toured the major clubs across Germany and the UK, and sold over half a million records by 1995.
After a 24-year break, they unexpectedly took the stage at Hamburg's sold-out Docks in 2019 - an evening that NDR television called a concert "for the history books of pop music". On 25 March 2022, the new album "Beauty in Broken" was released, their first new record since 1995, which climbed to number 21 on the German album charts.
Following an extensive German tour in autumn 2023, the band returns as "the Jeremy Days acoustic group" for select unplugged shows: classic jdays songs, tracks from "Beauty in Broken" and chosen deep cuts in acoustic form - plus stories and anecdotes from 35 years of band history.
