Schmitt Happens - Martin Schmitt

Following his successful programmes "Schmitt", "Aufbassn!", "Von Kopf bis Blues" and "Jetzt is Blues mit Lustig", the current German cabaret champion presents his long-awaited new show: "Schmitt Happens". Martin Schmitt will take the stage at our Kapuziner-Halle for the fifth time.

It's a proven blend of humorous, ironic, profound and serious stories and songs, as varied as life itself. Whether it's about excessive mobile phone use or daily motivation in life, emotional outbursts or job fatigue, fear, envy or countless dialects - Schmitt always remains recognizable.

Following Goethe's motto "Words enough have been exchanged, let me finally see deeds", piano playing doesn't fall short in this word-rich programme. Because he can do this like few others - this man who is certainly not as foolish as his piano.

Here comes the current German cabaret champion and winner of the Fränkischen Kabarettpreises with his fifth piano cabaret programme. Not a matinee on Thursday, but an evening of powerful Bavarian entertainment and incomparable, blues-soaked piano playing. To quote Horst Hrubesch: Schmitt happens!
