Rebecca Pap: Azizam

Rebecca Pap is funny, smart, talented, honest and brave. To the world she is first and foremost a woman - a woman who is, oddly enough, actually funny, a woman people ask where her mother is from, someone from the bottom, a Hartz IV kid, a kid without a father. Pretty cheeky, pretty loud, pretty much a lot.

And yet Rebecca is actually quite relaxed - even when the world usually isn't. She finds humour in everything, because what else can we do?

She learned that from her mother, who whenever Rebecca was scared would say to her in Farsi: Azizam. A word that has been with her for as long as she can remember. From childhood, when she took a spectacularly embarrassing tumble off a playground slide, right up to today, when she calls her mum from Berlin after way too long. How can so much have changed over all these years, while that one small word is still always the right answer?

Rebecca Pap, known from successful formats like "falsch, aber lustig" and her podcast "Anti Alles", is finally launching her first solo show Azizam - and she's doing it wholeheartedly. You're not supposed to say "doing". But why not, it's such a good word? Alright then, what will Rebecca be doing on stage? Quite a lot - and it'll be quite funny!
