About: Olaf Schubert

Born Michael Haubold in Plauen, Schubert built his career around a deadpan alter ego who tackles the world's problems in a too-tight sweater vest - and has been doing so on the ZDF "heute-show" since 2009. His current touring programme "Jetzt oder now!" runs through 2027 alongside the long-running "Dresdner Stadtrundshow".

The QUARTERBACK Immobilien ARENA is Leipzig's largest indoor arena, with a capacity of up to 15,000 spectators. Home to the ice hockey club Eisbären Leipzig and the basketball club Leipzig Eagles, it also hosts major concerts, shows, and sporting events. The venue was opened in 2002 and is located in the Paunsdorf district of eastern Leipzig.
