Ende offen - the art of a good goodbye
You can't start something new if you never end anything. We've all done it - ended a relationship, quit smoking, fallen out with a friend, or kicked the nail-biting habit. And that's exactly why we know: finishing well is a skill. Who better to guide humanity through it than Mia Mittelkötter, self-declared expert on absolutely everything? She's threatened her sluggish, armchair-bound husband Gustav with a final departure more times than she can count. His response, every single time: a beaming smile and "Oh great, I'll come along!" Will Mia's audience react the same way when she announces she's leaving the stage for good?
In this farewell programme, the Dortmund cabaret artist tackles the theme of endings. Joining her, as always, are chip-shop specialist Witta, the per-mille philosopher Detlev, and of course Mia Mittelkötter herself. The show moves at a brisk pace, blending brand-new material with the finest highlights from 35 years of cabaret. Because Albus knows the rule: stop while you're ahead. But has the best moment really already passed?
The only way to find out is to catch Lioba Albus's final cabaret show in person. And afterwards, naturally, the last one out turns off the lights - which is always the technician.
