SERDAR SOMUNCU - "HASSIAS - He's Back. And He Still Hates You"
Stadthalle Holzminden, Germany
45 €
Serdar Somuncu is back! Two years of quiet. Two years without the Hassias. Two years in which morality, decency and empathy were allowed to reign unchecked.
But the soft approach is over. Serdar Somuncu once again slips into the role of the self-appointed head of the fictional religious community "HASSIAS" - a sect of mockery, a cult of confrontation.
With his new cabaret show he brings to the stage what nobody wants to hear but everyone deserves: hate, rage, truth. Unfiltered. Under the tried-and-tested dogma: "Every minority has a right to discrimination."
The Hassias preaches with a raised middle finger, well-oiled bile and scripture-grade malice against what calls itself civilisation: political correctness, lifestyle leftists, Almans, gender asterisks, comfort feminism, AfD voters, vegans, yoga moms, anti-vaxxers - nobody is spared, everyone is loved. Which is to say: hated.
The comeback of intolerance: "The Hassias is not a character - he is a necessity. In a world where everyone wraps everyone else in cotton wool, someone has to throw nails. This comeback is not a return - it's a relapse. And a fully intentional one."
[Note: This show is not suitable for people with weak nerves, thin skin or chronic outrage. It contains humour that hurts - and that's exactly the point.]
