Mellowed with age? Not a chance! The last singing, rhyming anarchist of the German music scene has no intention of stopping: Hans Söllner, Bavarian Liedermacher and rebel, still draws thousands of concert-goers every year.

"Hey Staat" from 1989 was one of his first records - and already back then the guitarist and singer made clear he says exactly what he thinks, with a directness that can hit those he's addressing like a punch to the face. Nobody else rails so eloquently and with such relish - in the finest Bavarian dialect, naturally - against the state, the police, and those in power!
