A relaxed summer evening at Fredenbüll's bathing spot takes an unexpected turn for old hippie Bounty and his friends at standing table 2: tucked in a seagull's nest beside fluffy chicks, they find an urn filled with ashes - and a glittering diamond. Village cop Thies Detlefsen immediately smells a new crime and opens an investigation.
The killing in the north goes on.
Meanwhile, his daughter Telje urgently needs her father's police instincts: she is doing her medical internship at a clinic in nearby Sankt Peter Düne, where the renowned Professor Victor Nagy is researching a serum for eternal youth. But something is clearly off. Patients vanish from the mysterious Ward 7, a nurse doesn't survive the night shift, the trial participants show alarming symptoms, and the tyrannical head nurse is obviously hiding something...
In his 14th case, village detective Thies Detlefsen faces a mysterious urn, sparkling diamonds, and a criminal clinic director.
