16th Herzenswünsche Benefit Concert - Till Hoheneder and Friends

Till Hoheneder's Herzenswünsche benefit concert has become a fixture in Hamm's cultural landscape. For the sixteenth time, the legendary charity concert supporting the Münster-based Herzenswünsche e.V. association takes place in the Werkstatthalle of Maximilianpark. On September 4, 2026, host and initiator Till Hoheneder will once again welcome a stellar lineup of prominent colleagues and musicians to perform together for seriously and chronically ill children and young people.

This year's programme is particularly impressive, as there is plenty to celebrate: marking the 25th anniversary of Till Hoheneder's legendary band "Die Altobellis", a reunion is planned with original members including guitar maestro Jürgen "Mephisto" Mevis, Thomas Iselt on drums, and bassist Dirk Schulte. Till & Die Altobellis will be supported by longtime friends and collaborators Stefan Lamberty (keys), Jacky Biermann (bass), and Matze König (saxophone). "I'm absolutely thrilled about this musical reunion with Jürgen Mevis and the old crew, because Die Altobellis were an incredibly tight, well-rehearsed rock band!" Till says with a smile.

Also on the bill: blues guitar virtuoso Kai Strauss & The Electric Blues Allstars! Kai Strauss is arguably the only German blues guitarist praised by American specialist magazines and experts in the USA, the birthplace of blues. At the same time, he performs throughout Europe and is regarded by audiences and fellow musicians as one of the finest blues guitarists today. Authentic blues performed in absolute top form by Kai and his internationally assembled top band - it's no wonder Till is more than delighted to welcome Kai Strauss back to Hamm!
