Maximilianpark is a large public park in Hamm, Germany, created on the grounds of a former coal mine for the Federal Garden Show (Bundesgartenschau) in 1984. It is best known for the iconic Glass Elephant, a monumental steel-and-glass structure housing a tropical butterfly house.
