Monji El Beji knows the rockstar life all too well: after years with cult bands Fine R.I.P. and Woifeschdkänisch, he's famous - but still permanently broke. So he needs cash, which means a job - even if that job turns out to be hosting the Pfälzer Weinkönigin gala! No matter how many times bandmate Christoph Erbach calls him to order at rehearsal, the hard lot of a Palatinate family man keeps catching up with him.

In new anthems about the sense and nonsense of life, he settles scores - with fate, the bank, and his wife. What good is a rich aunt who simply refuses to die? And sure, his kids love him - but only as long as he's chauffeuring them around late at night. He'd walk through hell for his wife - but to the theatre? With the in-laws? Enough is enough! Except for Schorle. Which is already empty again. Deep in his Palatinate soul, Monji finally finds the elixir for a happy life - and it's not always Riesling. Even the Weinkönigin is surprised. 😉
