Michael Dühnfort & The Noise Boys & Cherryfield

Michael Dühnfort is a guitarist, singer and songwriter from Bremen, now based in Wurthfleth, Lower Saxony. With his band The Noise Boys - Maxi Suhr and Steffen Schmidt - he plays high-energy blues rock, driven by a charismatic, powerful voice and a distinctive style built over more than 40 years as a musician. Blues and blues rock form the core, with occasional touches of country or southern rock; expressive slide guitar is one of Dühnfort's signature techniques.

The trio, formed in 2006, has already opened for Eric Sardinas, Rob Tognoni, Lord Bishop and Ohrenfeindt. Expect a guitar-heavy show of honest, hard-hitting "slidin' blues 'n' rock".

Local Torgau band Cherryfield opens the night - somewhere between Irish blues and Texan long-beard boogie. Alongside their own take on Rory Gallagher, Zappa and ZZ Top, original songs are at the heart of their sets.
