Michael Dühnfort - guitarist, vocalist and songwriter born in Bremen, now based in Wurthfleth, Lower Saxony - plays high-energy blues rock with his band. Over a career spanning more than 40 years, he has developed a distinctly personal compositional and playing style. His demanding, expressive blues and blues rock, driven by a charismatic and powerful voice, is occasionally seasoned with touches of light country or earthy southern rock. Sensitive slide work is one of his signature techniques.\n\nThe trio formed in 2006 under the fitting name "Michael Dühnfort & The Noise Boys" is a reliable source of electrifying live shows, brilliant guitar playing and genuine emotion. The band has played support slots and shared stages with Eric Sardinas, Rob Tognoni, Lord Bishop and Ohrenfeindt, among others. At jam sessions, Michael Dühnfort is always a welcome face. The show that Dühnfort and his Noise Boys - Maxi Suhr and Steffen Schmidt - deliver with passion and relentless energy pulls the audience in from the very first note. Expect a guitar-heavy set of honest, hard-hitting "slidin' blues 'n' rock".\n\nCHERRYFIELD... from Torgau - a band somewhere between Irish blues and Texan long-beard boogie. Their own songs are the backbone of every show, wrapped around idiosyncratic cover versions of Rory Gallagher, Zappa and ZZ-Top.
