Capriccio - Als Ich Fortging - The Soundtrack of Our Youth

This concert takes the audience on a journey through an emotionally charged musical era that captured the spirit of more than one generation - whether you lived it or are hearing it for the first time.

Expect melodic international hits from Fleetwood Mac, Sting, and Gary Moore that soundtracked beautiful moments and the thrilling decades of the 70s and 80s. Alongside them, cult songs from the East German rock scene take the stage: from Electra to Karat and Karussell.

Capriccio is a duo from Dessau, the Bauhaus city, with over 20 years of successful concert work under their belt. CAPRICCIO stands for artistic inspiration and creative independence.

Multiple award-winning artists Sabine Waszelewski and Klaus-Jürgen Dobeneck bring exceptional virtuosity on electric guitar, acoustic guitar, and transverse flute, paired with the singer's warm, full voice - making the gems of rock and other musical styles shine.

The concert "Als ich fortging - Der Soundtrack unserer Jugend" presents a carefully chosen selection from Capriccio's rich repertoire, building on the enthusiastic reception they received at the Theater Grüne Zitadelle in 2025.
