Der alte Klang & das Meer

A concert reading about longing for distant places, the desire for closeness, and the freedom of simply listening to the sound of the sea - brought to life through poetry, prose and harp music by Nina Hoger and Ulla van Daelen.

Nina Hoger (readings) was discovered during her school years and has worked regularly in television ever since. Her best-known credits include the films Marleneken, Jahrestage and Enthüllungen einer Ehe, as well as the ARD series Um Himmels Willen.

Ulla van Daelen (harp) began playing the harp at age 12 and went on to work at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Deutsche Oper am Rhein and the WDR-Rundfunkorchester. Today she has made a name for herself as a performer, composer and arranger of jazz, rock and pop on the harp - her own compositions are broadcast on radio stations across Germany.
