The Old Sound & the Sea - Concert Reading at Schloss Ribbeck
Schloss Ribbeck, Nauen OT Ribbeck, Germany
32 €
A concert reading about what always moves us in the sea...
About longing for distant horizons, the desire for closeness, and the freedom to simply sit and listen to the sound of the waves. Sensitive, humorous, and executed at the highest artistic level - through poetry, prose, and harp music performed by Nina Hoger and Ulla van Daelen.
Both artists are connected by water: Nina Hoger as a native of Hamburg, and Ulla van Daelen with her harp, whose sound is naturally linked to the aquatic element. Yet this programme is anything but "gentle lapping" and will bring many surprises!
Nina Hoger (reading) was discovered during her school years and has since worked regularly for television. Important films include Marleneken, Jahrestage, and Enthüllungen einer Ehe, as well as the ARD series Um Himmels Willen.
Ulla van Daelen (harp) is regarded as an exceptional figure in the international harp scene. When she discovered the harp at age 12, her first step was taken. After her studies came the German Opera Berlin and the German Opera on the Rhine, as well as the WDR Radio Orchestra. Ulla van Daelen has established herself as an interpreter, composer, and arranger of jazz, rock, and pop on the harp. Her original compositions are broadcast on radio throughout Germany.
