Katrin Iskam is a trained nurse, garden influencer and three-time SPIEGEL bestselling author who prefers to garden in rubber boots and a nightgown. Her Instagram page @katrinsgarten won first place at the German Garden Book Prize and has nearly 200,000 followers. Her three books are: "Mit Witz, Charme und Methode - Das etwas andere Gartenbuch" (2022), "Klotzen statt kleckern: Gartengestaltung mit @katrinsgarten" (2023) and "Mit Herz & Gabel durch Katrins Gartenjahr 2025" (2024). She grew up in the Altmark region and now lives in Himbergen in the Lüneburger Heide.

In her live show "Gärtnern ohne viel Geschiss", she tells stories about midnight snail rescue missions that nearly ended at the police station, natural fertiliser on the Christmas tree, and her dachshund Tyson who serves as "head gardener".
