MusiSHEans Guitar Tour 2024

MusiSHEans brings together professional female guitarists from around the world and organizes an annual European tour - with the vision of a music world where gender plays no role in attention and visibility. The MusiSHEans Guitar Tour 2024 travels through several European countries. The project is supported by artists such as Badi Assad (Brazil), Tommy Emmanuel (Australia), Jon Gomm (England), and John Knowles (USA).

On stage will be MusiSHEans founders Judith Beckedorf and Karlijn Langendijk, along with Avin Ahmadi and Annika Teubner - performing solo and in changing line-ups. The program features oud, classical fingerstyle, percussive fingerstyle/tapping, pop fingerstyle, and singer/songwriter.

Avin Ahmadi (Iran) - Oud/Vocals
Avin Ahmadi, born in 2004 in Tehran, is a musician, oud player, and singer. Beyond her music, she works as a dancer and performer.

Annika Teubner (Germany) - Percussive Fingerstyle/Tapping
Annika Teubner began playing guitar at age seven and won first place in the "Jugend macht Musik" competition at 16. Since 2021, she has studied jazz/rock/pop acoustic guitar at Hochschule für Musik Dresden. In her original compositions - including "Fire Ants On Mars" - she combines percussive elements, tapping, and complex harmonies.

Karlijn Langendijk (Netherlands) - Classical Fingerstyle
Karlijn Langendijk grew up with acoustic guitar music and began playing at age 13, inspired by her father. Influenced by classical and contemporary concert music, she has composed her own pieces ever since. She has toured through Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, and China, and shared the stage with artists such as Tommy Emmanuel and Peter Finger.

Judith Beckedorf (Germany) - Pop Fingerstyle & Singer/Songwriter
Judith Beckedorf plays guitar, mandolin, and banjo and writes her own songs that combine personal experiences and fictional stories, primarily on nylon-string guitar.
