What is soul? A feeling, a musical style, an identity - the Matti Klein Soul Trio embodies all of this. Since 2017, the trio has toured worldwide, reimagining the possibilities of soul-jazz: with warm wurlitzer, Fender Rhodes piano-bass (both played by Matti Klein), shimmering tenor saxophone and bass clarinet (Lars Dieterich), and elastic, funky drums (André Seidel).
