Grand Vineyard Hike - "5 km - 6 Wines Tour" with the Winemaker in 4h to the "Golden Wagon"

This time the tour starts at the state winery Schloss Wackerbarth.

We hike up the stone staircase "Himmelsleiter" past the "Jacobstein" to the public observatory "Volkssternwarte". After a wine-filled break, we head downhill to the former 1st Saxon Sparkling Wine Cellar "Bussard", built in 1836 as a "factory for sparkling wines" (the second oldest in Germany). From there we climb back into the hills to one of the finest viewpoints in Radebeul - the König-Friedrich-August-Höhe at the water tower.

Next stop is one of the oldest vineyards, the "Paradies". From there we walk through the Lößnitzgrund valley past the Lößnitzbach stream and the narrow-gauge railway to the electoral wine estate "Hoflößnitz", the only certified organic winery in Saxony. After a tasting in the organic vineyard, we visit a historic wine press before finishing at the wine cellar "Am Goldenen Wagen".
