Four women meet at an airport with two things in common: their flight to New York is delayed - and they are all going through menopause, or nearly there.

At first glance the four could hardly be more different, but hot flushes, panic attacks, insomnia and uncontrollable emotional outbursts bond them quickly. With plenty of winks and no false modesty, the "Four Ladies in a Hormone Frenzy" share their woes with each other - set to well-known pop and rock songs from the 70s to the 90s, given brand-new German lyrics.

The taboo subject of menopause becomes a comedic-musical revue - for everyone directly or indirectly affected, for those who've been through it, those who have it coming, and their families.
