FARIN URLAUB - FARIN URLAUB ÜBERS REISEN - WITH JOCHEN SCHLIEMANN

FARIN URLAUB was travelling long before he ever played in a band. Seeing the whole world remains a distant goal, but for several decades now Africa has kept pulling him back. Solo or with a guide, by motorbike or 4x4 - he has visited more than 40 countries on this vast, thrilling, contradictory and utterly fascinating continent.

The beauty, humanity and adventure he has encountered there time and again are what he now wants to share. Not as an all-knowing cultural authority, but as an enthusiastic and curious traveller unafraid of the unknown - out on the road with a camera, technical clothing and a sunburn, searching for something true.

Joining forces with Jochen Schliemann (journalist, traveller, author and one half of the podcast "Reisen Reisen - Der Podcast"), Farin is taking this talk on tour through fine venues across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The two plan to speak openly about personal experiences, show photographs and - at the very least - spark curiosity in the audience.
