Description was written before the event

Hosts Wilfried Schmickler and Gernot Voltz, known as Herr Heuser, invite prominent guests to satirically review the events of the past month - pulling no punches and pushing the boundaries of political correctness.

The recording takes place in the storage facility of the historic Viller Mühle in Goch-Kessel on the Lower Rhine, literally at the border with the Netherlands.

Hart an der Grenze is a cabaret series produced jointly by WDR 5 Radio, Heinz Bömler, and Bruno Schmitz.
